据《奥莱报》统计，这是苏亚雷斯参加的第5届美洲杯，2007年上演国家队首秀以来，苏亚雷斯为乌拉圭出战138场比赛，出场次数队史仅次于戈丁（161），苏亚雷斯打进68球，他是乌拉圭队史最佳射手。
